Position Summary:
The Overnight Recovery Coach Shift Supervisor will oversee the operations and staff of the overnight shift while serving as the on-call supervisor during overnight hours. This role ensures continuity of care, supports team members, and maintains program standards in alignment with our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Recovery Coach Responsibilities:
- Provide medication administration and ensure certification as a Medication Aide.
- Assist in the orientation of new residents and facilitate resident transitions (admissions/discharges).
- Serve as a role model for Recovery Coaches, volunteers, and interns.
- Coordinate health and safety drills and maintain knowledge of all safety protocols and equipment.
- Facilitate groups and document resident behaviors.
- Provide transportation for residents as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead with a positive, team-oriented approach that empowers and motivates Recovery Coaches.
- Supervise approximately 20 Recovery Coaches across residential programs, including onboarding, training, and professional development.
- Conduct staff evaluations biannually, incorporating feedback from coworkers and residents.
- Plan and attend shifts across all schedules to provide hands-on training and support.
- Be available by phone for scheduling issues and shift coverage unless on approved time off.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Complete necessary documentation and internal chart audits.
- Compile and distribute reports as assigned.
House Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness to meet NDHHS standards.
- Enforce house rules and ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in behavioral health; supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and CARF Accreditation standards.
- Strong written, verbal, and computer skills; experience with electronic health records is a plus.
- Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certified in First Aid, CPR, and as a Medication Aide (or willingness to obtain certifications during probation).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to 42-CFR and HIPAA regulations.
- Proven problem-solving and stress management skills.
- A non-judgmental, supportive attitude toward persons served.

Probationary Period: 6 months

Pay: $40,000.00 – $53,000.00 per year
