The Well Expands to Columbus, NE: Bringing Mental Health and Support Services to the Community

We are thrilled to share some big news… The Well has opened a new outpatient location in Columbus, NE!  Our goal is to help fill the needs for mental health and substance use recovery services throughout Northeast Nebraska. 

The Well already has close ties to the Columbus community, as we are the area’s 24/7 Crisis Response Line. Our team was already driving to serve the people in Columbus regularly for Crisis Response. We knew there were some gaps in important services that we could provide!  

Meeting Community Needs

Our team has been hard at work getting the new office at, 2718 13st St, open. We are thrilled to share we are now accepting clients for these services:

• Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP): This program will offer treatment in the evenings, providing crucial support for people struggling with substance use. The program helps participants work through recovery while balancing their daily life.
• Counseling Services: Our office can see clients for any counseling need, we also have a bilingual counselor available through telehealth!
• Community Support Services: Our team will be on hand to help clients stabilize their mental health and support their recovery. We offer both general and emergency support to help people through tough times, or to help prevent crises before they escalate.
• Crisis Response: Our crisis response team is ready to provide immediate help when it’s needed most, ensuring that people in Columbus get timely care and resources during crisis.

At The Well, we are committed to improving access to mental health and addiction services for everyone in Northeast Nebraska.
