Jess Mulberry, LIMPHP, LADC

she/her

Counselor

Meet Jess Mulberry, a highly qualified professional holding a Master’s degree and accredited as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), she is The Well’s Youth and Family Outpatient Counselor. With over 15 years of experience, Jess is deeply passionate about supporting families, especially children, teens, and their caregivers. Her mission is to heal the family of origin, providing parents and children with the tools and skills needed for healthy, sustaining, and loving relationships within the family and the broader community. Jess combines science, research, and years of experience to guide and teach families, helping them find deep and sustainable healing and connection while unlearning unhealthy patterns and beliefs.  She is trained in Circle of Security and Child-Parent Psychotherapy.

Her ‘why’ in her role at The Well is deeply rooted in her career experiences, recognizing the breakdown of the family unit and the passing down of generational trauma as significant issues. She believes that by helping families heal, the cycle of generational trauma can be eased and ideally stopped, preventing more children and teens from being thrown into the metaphorical river without the support they need. The Well’s holistic approach aligns seamlessly with Jess’s commitment to ground zero – the family – where healing can create a ripple effect of positive change.

In her personal life, Jess moved from Pennsylvania to Nebraska a couple of years ago, experiencing a bit of culture shock but finding solace in her love for music, antique stores, naps, animated Disney movies, and crime series documentaries. Her passion for exploration and adventure leads her and her husband to different National Parks, capturing the beauty of the country and enjoying wildlife.

Fun Fact: Jess believes you can never have too many cardigans. She also has a soft spot for pets (all of her’s are named after Harry Potter characters).
