Counselor + Community Support Supervisor

Jenny Phipps began her journey with The Well in 2012. Over the years, she has worn many hats, working towards her current role as a Residential Counselor at the Mommy and Me program. Her professional experience spans crisis response, case management, community support, peer support, recovery coaching, and clinical assistance—making her a well-rounded and compassionate presence within The Well’s services.

Driven by a deep passion for recovery, Jenny is drawn to The Well’s culture of continual growth and commitment to service. She’s inspired by the organization’s constant pursuit of asking, “What else can we do for the community?”—a mission that perfectly aligns with her own values. For Jenny, this work is more than a profession; it’s a calling to create meaningful change and stand alongside individuals as they reclaim their strength, purpose, and connection.

Outside of work, Jenny’s life is beautifully full. She’s the proud mom of a blended family that includes three biological children, three adopted children, and one stepchild. Her happiest moments come from spending time with her kids—whether they’re baking, doing arts and crafts, decorating cakes with Nailed It-level results, or battling it out in card games like Go Fish and Garbage. Jenny also has a love for plants [even if they don’t always love her back] and collects elephant figurines, drawn to the way elephants fiercely protect and nurture their herd, much like the way she supports her own family and community.

When it comes to personality, Jenny is equal parts heart and humor. She’s never far from a silly face or a playful moment and embraces her slightly ornery sense of humor. She even admits she’d love to be crowned “Princess” if someone would just agree to it. But behind the jokes is a dedicated, experienced, and empowering professional whose journey and joy fuel her work at The Well every single day.
