Christy Guzman, PLADC
She/Her
Counselor
Christy is our Intermediate Residential Counselor at The Well and holds a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Counseling and Prevention with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Dakota. She is also a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC).
Christy chose this work because of her passion for serving individuals with substance use disorders and her belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a happy and healthy life. She especially enjoys working in residential treatment because of the continuous connection she is able to build with clients throughout their recovery journey.
One of Christy’s favorite things about working at The Well is the diversity of the people who make up our community. She appreciates that The Well is a place for anyone and everyone, where people from all walks of life are met with respect. She is proud to be part of the work The Well is doing in the community.
Outside of work, Christy is a wife and mom and loves spending her free time with her family. She also has a full house with two bulldogs and a cat! Christy loves to travel, try new cuisines, and watch reality TV.
For her “fun” picture, Christy chose to show off her two favorite roles in life, “Wifey” and “Mama”.
