Aleigha Lawless brings more than 20 years of experience in the human services field to her role at The Well. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Wayne State College and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families. Before joining The Well, Aleigha spent many years working in the developmental disability field, serving in a wide range of roles from direct care to administrative leadership. This breadth of experience gives her a unique perspective on both frontline and organizational support.
Aleigha is deeply motivated by her passion for people and the work The Well is doing in the community. She is proud to be part of an organization that is not only committed to empowering others but also constantly exploring new ways to improve and expand services. For her, The Well represents both innovation and heart—a place where real change and growth are possible.
Aleigha describes The Well as an exciting and inspiring place to work, one where teamwork, compassion, and growth come together every day. She feels grateful to be part of a mission-driven organization that is making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and the community.
Outside of her professional role, Aleigha treasures time spent with her husband and their two boys. Whether at home or out and about, family is at the center of her life.
Fun Fact: She also enjoys expressing her creativity through baking and decorating cookies and cupcakes, a hobby that allows her to combine artistry with the joy of sharing something sweet with others.
